BMW X5 M Makes 730 HP With Manhart Engine Upgrade, Gets Fresh Styling

05 May 2023

BMW has always been known for its high-performance vehicles, and the BMW X5 M is no exception. With a powerful V8 engine under the hood, the X5 M is already an impressive SUV in its stock form. However, German tuner Manhart Performance has taken things to the next level with their engine upgrade package, giving the X5 M a staggering 730 horsepower.

The MHX5 750

The Manhart engine upgrade is called the MHX5 750, and it includes new turbochargers, a stainless-steel exhaust system, and an ECU tune. With these modifications, the X5 M's 4.4-liter V8 engine produces an incredible 730 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque, which is a significant increase over the stock output of 625 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque.

But that's not all. The MHX5 750 also includes a range of other upgrades, including a new carbon fiber hood, front splitter, side skirts, and a rear diffuser. The SUV sits on a set of 22-inch wheels wrapped in high-performance tires, and the suspension has been lowered for a more aggressive stance. The interior also receives some love, with a new Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel and upgraded seats.

The Manhart MHX5 750 is not just about power and styling, though. The tuner has also improved the X5 M's handling and braking performance, with larger brake discs and new brake pads. The SUV also benefits from a new carbon fiber air intake system, which improves airflow to the engine and helps to keep things running cool.

The result of all these modifications is an X5 M that is faster, more powerful, and more stylish than ever before. The MHX5 750 can accelerate from 0-100 kmh in just 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of over 300 kmh. That's supercar territory from an SUV.

Zagato's AGTZ Twin Tail: A Removable Rear Bumper Takes Alpine A110 to New Heights

Italian coachbuilder Zagato has once again showcased its expertise in blending elegance with innovation with the launch of the AGTZ Twin Tail, a sports car based on the Alpine A110. What sets this new model apart is its unique and versatile feature – a removable long-tail rear bumper. This design pays homage to the iconic Alpine A220 that raced at Le Mans, adding a touch of nostalgia to a contemporary masterpiece. The AGTZ Twin Tail draws inspiration from classic Zagato builds like the Alfa Romeo TZ1 and the Iso Rivolta GTZ, known for their distinctive rear-end designs. However, the Twin Tail takes this tradition a step further by allowing owners to customize their car's aerodynamics with the option of a long tail for enhanced performance or a shorter tail for everyday driving.
